The Victorville Station serves as the Police Department and works closely with the others departments in the City of Victorville. The City of Victorville contracts with the San Bernardino County Sheriff for City police services.

The Victorville Station has the distinction of being the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's oldest contract city operation. When someone has been arrested by the Victorville Sheriff Department, they will be taken to the Victorville jail on Civic Drive to await their arraignment.

If they are not released on bond or otherwise, or, if there are any impending medical issues, it's possible that some defendants may be transferred to the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. If they are transferred to this larger facility, their release time could increase quite a bit.
