WHERE DO I GO TO COURT?
Bailing out of jail is often the beginning of the legal process. You likely will need to go to court. Although each situation is unique, many of our clients that are arrested in North Orange County will go to North Justice Center (NJC); 1275 North Berkeley Avenue
Fullerton, CA 92832-1258. However, you want to check with your bondsman (or other professional) to be sure of the Orange County Court location.
DO I NEED AN ATTORNEY
Our clients often ask us the question — do I need an attorney? Unfortunately, the answer is often not so clear. There are many things to consider. For example, when you go for a future job interview, what will show up on your police record? If you are from another country you may risk losing your citizenship with a conviction. A bail bondsman cannot give legal advice. We might recommend that you check with the Orange County Public Defender or the Orange County Bar.
