When someone is by the Dana Point Harbor Patrol, Dana Point Police or Orange County Sheriff Department, they will likely be transported to the Laguna Beach Jail, the Orange County Central Jail, (OCJ) which is the main jail facility in Santa Ana, or the James Musick Facility in Irvine.

The amount of time it takes for the arrest, booking and processing of the defendant will vary because each Orange County jail has their own procedures. It's important to begin the bail bond process as soon as possible. Once a person is booked into an Orange County jail, it can often take between 2 and 24 hours to be released on a bail bond.
