In the United States, people are arrested every day for drinking and driving.

We see the stories on the news of people who were caught at sobriety checkpoints, or worse, after causing a fatal crash because they had too much to drink.

Although the number of DUI arrests in the US is staggering, this crime is not one that is exclusive to Americans.

Countries all over the world are seeing a high number of citizens being arrested for drinking and driving.

India has been working to reduce the number of DUI incidents with its citizens with longer jail terms and weekend inspections.
