POLICE DEPARTMENT & JAIL INFORMATION
The Rancho Cordova Police Department’s nearest cross street is Mather Field Road. The Rancho Cordova Police Department does not have an on site jail so anyone they arrest will be immediately transported to the Sacramento Main Jail, which is run by the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department. Bail may be posted at this jail 24/7.
Please call to speak with a bondsman Greg Rynerson Bail Bonds for fast track bonding and jail release at: 916-489-2245 or 888-224-5266. We’re here all the time, day or night, weekends and holidays.
HOW BAIL IS SET IN SACRAMENTO
Judges are responsible for setting bail in California. Sacramento County Judges do this on an annual basis and create what is known as a "Bail Schedule". The type of crime someone has allegedly committed dictates the bail.
The first consideration in setting bail is public safety, followed by "flight risk" (the likelihood a defendant will or will not show up for an appointed court date).
The more serious the crime and the greater the possibilitity of jail time, adds up to higher bail amounts. Since the purpose of bail is to allow the arrestee to go free until he or she has been convicted of their crime, the amount must be set at a legally reasonable fee.
If a defendant or their family cannot afford the full bail amount, they will turn to a bail bondsman who, in the state of California, will only charge 10% of the entire bail amount.
Greg Rynerson Bail Bondsmen are experts on the Sacramento County Jail system and we post bonds throughout the rest of California, too.
We handle our bail bond applications over the phone, via email, by fax or in person to save you a great deal of time and the embarrassment of traveling to a bail bond office, the Rancho Cordova Police Department or to the jail.
We also go to great lengths to insure that you are very comfortable and well informed about every step of the bail bond procedure. Please give us a call. We are open all the time, day or night to help you. Our consultation is free.
