The Bob Wiley Detention Facility is one of three Tulare County jails.  Its day to day operations are handled by the men and women of the Tulare Sheriff’s Department Detentions Operations and Detentions Administration units.

This jail houses both male and female inmates and serves as the primary intake and booking facility for women arrested in Tulare County.

VISITATION

Persons wishing to visit inmates may do so on Saturday and Sunday during pre-set, designated times based on the housing module in which the defendant is housed.

Female Inmates
Saturday: Module 13, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.; Module 11, Module 12, Level 5, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Male Inmates
Saturday:  Module 21, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 11 a.m to 12 p.m.;  Module 22, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.,  2 p.m. to 3 p.m.; Module 31, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Sunday:  Module 41, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Module 42, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.;  Module 32, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.;  Modules 21 & 22, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.; Level 5, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Module 31, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.;  Modules 41 & 42, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

BAIL BONDS COST & PAYMENT OPTIONS

The cost to purchase Tulare bail bonds is 10% of the defendant’s total bail amount.  This means if your loved one has a bail of $20,000 you will need to pay $2,000 to a bondsman to purchase a bail bond.    The bail industry is regulated by the California Department of Insurance (DOI) and they are the agency that sets the rate at which bondsmen are to charge their clients.

Sometimes people ask if we can offer discounted bail or 5% bail bonds if they pay up front, in cash, but this isn’t a request we can honor.  It is illegal to sell bail bonds for more or less than the legal rate.

Monthly payment plans are available to those who qualify and most of our clients are happy to learn they are eligible for no-collateral bail bonds.  We accept many forms of payment including debit cards, all major credit cards, wire transfer, bank deposit, cash and more.
