The San Diego County Sheriff Lemon Grove Substation has been providing contract law enforcement services to the City of Lemon Grove and the unincorporated communities of Spring Valley, Rancho San Diego, Jamul, Mount Helix, Casa de Oro, La Mesa and El Cajon.

There is only a temporary booking facility at this substation. Therefore, when someone you know has been in the Lemon Grove area, male arrestees are typically transported to the San Diego Central Jail; women arrestees will generally be transported to the Las Colinas Jail.

When an arrestee is transported to a San Diego County jail facility, they must be booked and processed into the system.
