    The Chino Hills Police/Sheriff's Department has developed a strong working partnership with both the city and its citizens by establishing a total team response. This meets the needs of the community and results in a low crime rate which helps to establish Chino Hills as one of California's best communities.

    When someone is arrested in the Chino area they may be transferred to the, West Valley Jail or the Central Detention Center Jail depending upon their individual case.

    Once there, they will be booked into the system which consists of taking photographs, fingerprints and having a nation wide data base check of their background for warrants, holds, etc. Once this is complete, they will be ready for bail to be posted for them.
