Temple Station is located in Los Angeles County and is part of the Sheriff’s Department (LASD). In some cases, we will post a bail bond directly at this jail facility. Other times, the defendant may be transferred to other holding facilities located within Los Angeles County and we’ll post the bond there.
Currently, the Temple City Station provides policing services to the cities of South El Monte, Bradbury, Duarte, Temple City and Rosemead. Also note that Temple City provides services for unincorporated areas of the county including Duarte, Monrovia, and Arcadia, certain districts of Pasadena, South San Gabriel and Chantry Flats (Los Angeles Forest Land).
Persons taken into custody in this area are brought to the Temple Station. The booking process must be completed before bail is set. If not bailed out from there, the person in custody is generally held until their first court date. After Court appearance, men are transferred to the Men’s Central Jail (known as Twin Towers); women are usually transferred to the Los Angeles County Lynwood Detention Facility.

VISITATION
From jail to jail, visitation policies can vary. Generally, once the arrestee has been in custody for at least 24 hours, visits are allowed, 15 minutes per day. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. All visitors must present a picture identification. Clergy, bondsmen, attorneys and other selected professional staff are allowed to visit prisoners on more generous time schedules (usually 24 hours).
