    OPTIONS TO MEET YOUR NEEDS

Our California licensed bondsman can meet you at your preferred location, our office, your home or the jail.  Not only can we service your Pico Rivera bail bond needs, we can handle most jails in California.

Fax or e-mail is the preferred method that most of our customers choose in order to complete the legal bail documents.

Another option is that one of our bondsmen can meet you at a specified location of your choice (jail, office, home or other location).  Most customers will pay us by credit card, cash or cashiers check (other bail payment options are available).

Personal checks are generally discouraged; however, we sometimes make exceptions.

Once the necessary documents have been completed by our customers, one of our licensed bondman will post the bond at the appropriate jail. In most cases, the defendant will be released in a matter just a few hours.

Release times are based on internal conditions at the particular jail such as staffing and workload.

It is important to get all the necessary paperwork completed as soon as possible.  This will help to avoid delays in getting released.

    WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN ARRESTED

On a misdemeanor arrest the suspect will be taken to the station and booked. This includes fingerprinting and identification checks.

He or she may be released on a promise to appear citation. Or, bail may be set and the defendant will be eligible to “bail out”.

If not bailed out or if the crime is one that does not offer bail, the suspect may be held until the court date if the circumstances dictate such action. Inmates not quickly bailed out are often transferred to the Los Angeles County Jail (Twin Towers for men and Lynwood jail for women).

Bail can be posted at those jails as well. However, transfers generally add 12 - 24 hours to the total time in jail.

If the offense is alcohol or drug related, the suspect will stay at the sheriff's station until he or she can safely care for himself or herself (often 6-12 hours). Generally, DUI suspects are released on their “own recognizance” (OR) unless their was an accident, injury or other mitigating circumstances.

Juveniles who are detained are taken to the station and held pending either a transport to Juvenile hall or release to their parent/guardian. Juveniles do not get bailed out.
