We have local Palmdale bondsmen; however, we also have a large network of agents located throughout the entire state of California.
A majority of our customers are not familiar with the bail bond process. Our 24 hour licensed bail bondsmen are able to explain the process.
Feel free to browse our web-site which has abundant information about everything you need to know about bail bonds. If you're more comfortable, give us a call us locally at 661-254-5822 and we are happy to discuss your Palmdale bail bond options.
Or, call our California 24 hour hotline at 888-224-5266.
All bondsmen are required to charge the same rate (usually the legal rate is 10% of the full bail amount); therefore a consumer is really shopping for a bondsman that they can trust and rely upon.
With our bail bond company, you have various payment options and we specialize in creative solutions to bring your friend or loved one home.
Those arrested in the Palmdale are brought to the Palmdale jail for booking. After the defendant has been booked, they have several options for release.
- Release defendant on own recognizance;
- Cite-out of the defendant;
- Release defendant with no charges filed; and
- Posting of a bail bond.
It usually takes 2-6 hours for an inmate to get fully booked into the Palmdale jail.
The reason the booking process takes so long is that the jail staff needs to do proper background checks to ensure the identity of the arrested individual. These background checks involve checking many computer databases (both local and national) and this simply takes a lot of time.
Defendants will only remain at the Palmdale jail for 3 days maximum. If defendants still need to be jailed, they will be transferred to the Los Angeles County Jail, Men's Central Jail which is located in downtown Los Angeles.
CHOOSING A BONDSMAN
Be careful what bondsman you choose to transact bail.
Over the past 5 years, a new breed of unethical bondsman has emerged that will engage in unethical /illegal tactics to get your business. This will include behaviors such as bait and switch tactics, illegal telephone cold calling to relatives of the defendant and illegal soliciting outside of the jail house.
We urge all bail clients to be extremely careful. Your bondsman should have a California bail license ID (from the California Department of Insurance) with their photograph affixed.
In short, just be careful whom you chose choose to transact business. Most bondsman are hardworking professionals, however, consumers need to be cautious.
Please call our bondsmen at 661-254-5822 or 888-224-5266 for free information about your Palmdale bail situation.
