When arrested in Solano County, defendants will be transported to the main Solano County Jail for booking and processing. This jail the the main detention facility for Solano County and is administrated by the Solano County Sheriff’s Office. Daily daytime visiting hours are 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

At the time of the defendant’s arrest, booking and processing, the bail amount will be set by a judge according to a Solano County bail schedule. Release from these jails can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending upon the jail staff. It’s important to know that if the defendant is not bailed out, he or she will generally remain in custody until the matter has been resolved in court.
