SAN JOSE POLICE DEPARTMENT FOOTHILL DIVISION
The San Jose PD Foothill Division is made up of four police districts. They are Charles, Mary, Paul and William. These include more than 623 street miles. The San Jose Foothill Division borders the City of Milpitas and the East Foothills of San Jose. Areas in the Foothill Division also include Lake Cunningham, Alum Rock Park, Reid-Hillview Airport, Eastridge Mall and Raging Waters.
If a friend or family member has been arrested by the SJPD Foothill Division and jailed, a licensed, professional bondsman can provide you with fast and accurate information. We'll work diligently to have them released as quickly as possible. It's good to know with us you may post bail at any of the San Jose Police Department Jails, 24 hours a day.
When someone is arrested in the Foothill Division area, they will likely be taken for processing and booking to the San Jose jail. This is the main jail complex in Santa Clara County. When an arrestee is transported to the San Jose main jail complex, they must be processed into the system. The booking process, which typically consists of a background check, photographs and fingerprints, can often take from 2 to 4 or more hours to complete, depending on how busy the staff is at the main jail complex.
It’s important to know that a bail bond can not be processed by the jail while the defendant is being booked. However, as professional bondsmen, we can still get things started right away.
BAIL PROCESS & PAYMENT OPTIONS
A bail bond in California costs 10% which is the mandated law. This is a non-refundable percentage of the total amount of the bail. For example, should the bail amount be $10,000, your portion will cost $1,000.
You may not be in the position to afford the full amount of a bail, especially in this uncertain economy. We understand. We can assist by offering a flexible payment plan. If you qualify, we’ll work out a plan that meets your needs. For more information on bail payment options, see our payment plan video.
