SCOTTS VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND JAIL INFORMATION

The Scotts Valley Police Department is a full service law enforcement agency which serves over 11,000 citizens in Scotts Valley. The Department provides an array of services from neighborhood watch and residential checks to juvenile programs along with vigilant traffic safety enforcement.

When someone is arrested in Scotts Valley, men will be taken to the Santa Cruz Main Jail for booking and processing, women will be taken to the Blaine Street Facility Jail.

While there, they will be photographed, fingerprinted and a nation-wide background check will be conducted. When this process is complete, they will be clear for bail and a bail bond may be posted.

Defendants booked into the Santa Cruz Jail are all eligible to be released on bail or bond, unless specified by a warrant, court order or bail schedule.
