BAIL BOND MISCONCEPTIONS

Often our clients are uncertain of the how bail bonds work.  For example, many of our clients believe they are required to pledge some type of collateral and expect to need to put their house on the line.  It may surprise you to know that we do most bail bonds with no collateral.  A simple signature from a credible signer is all that is generally required.

Typically, our customers are not aware that most bonds can be completed by fax or e-mail. Technology simplifies the process and saves everybody a lot of time allowing us to get the defendant out of jail quickly. We are LGBT friendly bail bondsmen.

BAIL BONDS PROCESSS IN SAN FRANCISCO

At the time of arrest and processing, the bail is set according to a published bail schedule that is set annually by judges for San Francisco County.  The Sheriff's Department located at 425 7th St., San Francisco is the Intake and Release Center for the Sheriff's Department.  Prisoners will be transferred to this facility to be processed.  This detention facility is the focal point for individuals that have been arrested, even though many are eventually transferred to other parts of the jail system.

If you have access to a large sum of money you may not want to use a bondsman, but pay the bail in full by cash or cashier’s check.  Your funds will be tied up until the case is completed. If you are paying by cashier's check, you need to be certain that the payee is exactly as the jail requests; otherwise, the jail may refuse the check.
