As there is only a small, temporary holding facility at the San Rafael Police Department Station, it’s important to know that when a person has been arrested in San Rafael, they will most likely be transported to the the larger, Marin County Jail for processing and processing.
When the defendant’s fingerprints, photographs and background checks have been completed, they will be ready to be bailed out, which will typically be within 2 to 6 hours. Our company can post the bond at the Marin County Jail 24 hours a day.
