    MOUNT SHASTA POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Mount Shasta Police Department is responsible for providing safety for the residents and visitors of the city. The officers strive to enforce the law both proactively and reactively.

There are nine full-time sworn officers in the department. Patrols are done 24-hours a day and officers handle all calls for service in the area.

The department implemented a Community Enhancement Program in 2008 with its roots in the DARE and Youth Enhancement Program. The purpose of this program is to educate, develop, and assist with programs, civic groups or police department programs with financial assistance or volunteerism where safety and health are the priority.

When someone is arrested by the Mount Shasta Police Department, they will be taken to the Siskiyou County Jail in Yreka for booking. This process will include fingerprinting, photographs, a background check and nationwide warrant search.

Bail will be set according to the county bail schedule and the defendant can be bailed out as soon as booking is complete. The booking process could take several hours to complete, depending on how busy jail staff members are when an arrestee is brought in.

    BAIL BOND PROCESS

When you call the professional team at 888 Bail Bond, we will ask a few questions in order to approve a bail bond. We need to know the defendant’s full legal name, birth date, address and employment information, list of charges and bail amount. If you don't have all this information, we can still help.

Once the bond is approved, we’ll help you complete our simple paperwork over the phone, or by fax, email or in person. We can even meet with you at your home or office to help make it more convenient.

The bondsman will explain all of the steps and your responsibilities as a cosigner for a bail bond. You will be the person who is responsible to pay the bail fee as well as make sure the defendant goes to court.

    AFFORDABLE BAIL BONDS

With bail amounts in California being so high, it can be nearly impossible for most people to bail a loved one out of jail. One of the most affordable options is to work with a bondsman.

The cost of a bail bond would require a payment of only 10% of the bail amount. That means if bail is $15,000, then you will only have to pay $1,500 to get your loved one released from jail. We offer convenient payment options, such as credit card acceptance and payment plans.

This is not a pleasant situation to be in but the help of one of our caring agents can help make it go smoothly.

As soon as you get the call that a friend or family member has been arrested, call 888 Bail Bond at 888-BAIL-BOND and we’ll get to work right away.
