    ARREST, BOOKING & BAIL

Since there is not a jail located at the University Police Department station, when someone has been arrested on campus or in the area they will be transported to the Monterey County Jail located in Salinas for booking into the system.

When someone has been arrested on or near the Cal State University Monterey campus, let our staff of highly trained bail bondsmen provide you with expert and immediate assistance.

They will always take the time to explain the bail process, then work diligently to have your friend, family member, student, or loved one released from jail as quickly as possible.  We understand the stress you may be under at this time. Let our company assist you in arranging an affordable bail bond which meets both your personal and financial needs.

The booking process consists of photographing, fingerprinting, and a nationwide background check. It’s important to know that “booking-in” can take several hours to complete. During this process, a bail bond simply can not be posted.

We realize it’s tough to be patient at this time; we will work to guide you through the procedure and explain the timing of the bond process step-by-step.

When the bond has been posted with the jail, release from the facility may often take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the workload of the jail staff and the defendant’s individual situation. If they are not bailed out, they will typically remain in custody until the matter has been resolved in court.

    TRUSTED CAL STATE BAIL BONDSMAN

We realize not everyone may have a perfect credit history, which is why we offer several payment options. Most often, collateral  for the bail bond may not be required as most of our clients find it easy qualifying for a signature bond.

Read more about acquiring an affordable bail bond. The cost of a Monterey County bail bond is established by the State of California at 10% of the total bail amount.

We’re open 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. We’ll take the time to look at all of your options to help you decide what works best. Our bail bondsmen are always happy to serve you.
