At the intersection of Truxtun Avenue and L Street, go south on L St. then turn left into the first available parking lot, located north of the railroad tracks. Parking is in the open parking lot.

Defendants are kept at Central Receiving Facility, known as the Bakersfiled Jail, until their arraignment unless they are bailed out before court. After being initially seen by a judge, defendants are transferred to the Lerdero Complex which houses not only pre-trial defendants, but also Minimum, Medium and Maximum Security convicted inmates.
